- State criminal history: contact FDLE Criminal History Records / Criminal Justice Information Services
- Sheriff reports and local checks: contact the SCSO Public Records Unit at 100 Eslinger Way, Sanford, FL 32773, or call 407-665-6650
- Booking and custody: use the John E. Polk Correctional Facility current-inmate channel for the facility at 211 Eslinger Way, Sanford
- Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
- Sealing and expungement: begin with FDLE eligibility materials, then file in the court that handled the case
The Clerk's criminal counter is at the Criminal Justice Courthouse, 101 Eslinger Way, Sanford, FL 32773, generally during county business hours of Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Confirm holiday schedules and counter cutoffs before traveling. Sheriff's records requests run through the SCSO Public Records Unit at headquarters, while a city police report must go to the department that created it.
