Terms of Use

These conditions govern access to and use of the website. Reading a page, submitting a search, or otherwise continuing here signifies acceptance of every term below. If you disagree, you must stop using the site.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website has no affiliation with a local, Florida, or federal government body. Neither the site nor its advertising partners offers a service intended for credit checks, employment screening, insurance underwriting, tenant evaluation, or another Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) use. Its purpose is to help visitors locate Seminole County, Florida criminal-record resources. It is neither a private investigation firm nor a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, independently operated and unaffiliated with government. It neither stores official criminal records nor retrieves records, performs official background checks, or files documents for a user.

The site points toward the offices holding Seminole County criminal records, including the Sheriff's Public Records Unit, Seminole County Clerk, FDLE Criminal History Records, and the Florida Sexual Offenders and Predators Search. Government access is governed by the Florida Public Records Law, chapter 119, Florida Statutes, while FDLE criminal-history dissemination is addressed by section 943.053, Florida Statutes. The site may also connect visitors with outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

As a condition of use, you agree not to:

  • Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means against the pages
  • Violate a federal, Florida, or local law
  • Threaten, stalk, or harass another person with information found here
  • Interfere with performance or prevent another visitor's access
  • Attempt unauthorized entry into any system or account
  • Rely on site content for employment, housing, credit, or insurance decisions

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information from this site or a linked tool may not be used to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate against anyone. Such conduct is prohibited and may be criminal. Florida law places specific limits on use of the Florida Sexual Offenders and Predators Search. Section 775.21(10)(d), Florida Statutes, addresses prohibited alteration, false official presentation, and payment coercion involving registry information. Registry data supports public safety awareness, not vigilantism or discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A check required for an FCRA-regulated purpose must come from an appropriate FCRA-compliant provider or the official process specified by the requesting authority. This site is not that provider.

5. No Legal Advice

Nothing here is legal advice. General descriptions of Seminole County records cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, sealing rule, or expungement rule applies to one person. Seek advice from a licensed Florida attorney.

6. No Warranties

The website and its contents are supplied "as is," without a guarantee that:

  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Criminal-record status changes as charges are filed or dismissed and records are sealed or expunged. Updates can lag or remain incomplete. Site content is never an official statement of a court, sheriff, or other public agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

We link to sheriff's office sites, court portals, state agency pages, legal aid organizations, and outside search services across this site. Clicking one of those links moves you off our platform and onto one we have no control over. We are not responsible for their content, how they handle data, what they charge, or whether their site stays online. Check their terms before using them.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Seminole County Criminal History or its content partners. Copying, distributing, modifying, or building upon that material requires prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for damages that come from using this site - including decisions made based on information found here or through any linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to hold us harmless from any claim, legal action, or demand that stems from how you used this site or from breaking these terms. That includes covering our legal fees and related costs.

11. Governing Law

Florida law governs these terms. Any dispute tied to use of the site must be brought in a court located in Florida.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. A revision becomes effective when it is posted here.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be restricted or terminated at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.

14. Severability

If a court rules that any part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the rest stand. The problem section gets adjusted only as much as needed to make it work.
